Hello, I was found wandering the streets of Delano.  I was taken to the shelter in Delano and nobody came for me.  I was finally let out of there when some lady who said she rescued bassets came and got me.  Well, I tell you, I certainly had a lot to tell her.  Imagine, me in a shelter!!  The nerve!  I belong in a home with nice soft cushions, quality food, and somebody to love on me.  

I have a fatty tumor on my front leg.  They are going to take that off on Jan 24.  Then they are going to take an x-ray of my leg to find out why I don't want to straighten my leg out all the way.

I am looking forward to finding my forever valentine family.

Update 02-26-13   Well I had the surgery on my leg and everything went just fine.  I just need to get my stiches out and I am good to go.  Oh, why did wouldn't my leg straighten out?  Arthritis!  No big deal, does not slow me down one little bit!

Come on and check me out.  I am one big bundle of basset love waiting to find a family of my own to take care of.
